What are the key components of ULTRAFLEX boat steering systems, and how do they function?
The key components of ULTRAFLEX boat steering systems include the steering cable, helm, and control cable, all designed to provide smooth and reliable steering. The systems come in both mechanical and hydraulic options, such as rack and pinion or rotary steering, offering efficient control for outboard engines and sterndrives. Technologies like the Rotech mechanical rotary system and premium hydraulic helm kits help reduce steering effort and enhance the boating experience, ensuring durability and top performance for years to come.
What materials are used in Uflex steering wheels to ensure durability in marine environments?
Uflex steering wheels are made from high-quality marine-grade materials to ensure durability and long-lasting performance in harsh marine environments. These materials include corrosion-resistant metals and UV-resistant plastics, which are specifically designed to withstand the loads on the steering system, whether it's for outboards, inboard engines, or sterndrives. Uflex uses cutting-edge technologies and high-performance components, like pre-crimped brass fittings and bend restrictors, to maintain reliability and efficiency across their marine steering systems.
What role does the bezel play in Uflex USA mechanical steering systems?
The bezel in Uflex mechanical steering systems serves as a key component that connects the steering wheel to the helm, ensuring smooth and precise control. It provides the necessary mounting support and alignment for both rotary and rack and pinion steering systems, commonly used in sterndrive and outboard applications. By offering a reliable and durable interface, the bezel contributes to the overall efficiency and longevity of the steering system in marine environments.
