What are the main differences in performance between the Solas Amita 3 and Amita 4 propellers?
The Solas Amita 3 and Amita 4 propellers differ primarily in blade count, which affects their performance on the water. The Amita 3, with its three-blade design, is optimized for higher top speeds and acceleration, making it ideal for light to moderate loads. The Amita 4 blade offers improved thrust, especially at lower speeds, providing better handling and stability, particularly beneficial for heavy loads or when precise control is required. Both models are available in aluminum and are compatible with a variety of outboard and stern drive engines.
In addition to the Amita series, Solas offers a wide range of propellers, such as the Titan and Saturn models, crafted with durable materials like high-chromium stainless steel and aluminum to enhance performance in various marine conditions. These blade variations allow boaters to choose options tailored to specific needs, whether it’s a 3 blade for speed or a 4 blade for control and stability. Solas propellers are constructed with precision, providing options in different sizes and pitches, such as the Saturn stainless for heavy-duty use or the HR4 for higher performance, fitting outboard and stern drive engines across many brands.

How does the Rubex hub system enhance the functionality of Solas Props for outboard engines?
The Rubex hub system enhances the functionality of Solas propellers by providing a shock-absorbing mechanism that reduces vibration and impact, improving overall performance for outboard engines. This system uses a replaceable rubber bushing, which protects both the propeller and the engine during sudden shifts and high-torque conditions. Additionally, the Rubex hub system is compatible with a wide range of outboards, making it a versatile and reliable choice for various boat propellers, whether aluminum or stainless steel.
