Navalloy® is a specialized aluminum sacrificial anode alloy developed by Performance Metals for marine cathodic protection. Unlike conventional aluminum, Navalloy combines aluminum with approximately 5% zinc and a small amount of indium, helping the anode remain active and provide reliable protection against galvanic corrosion.
Navalloy aluminum anodes are suitable for salt, brackish and fresh water and are used to protect hulls, outboards, sterndrives, shafts, rudders and other underwater metal components. Manufactured to MIL-DTL-24779 specifications, Navalloy anodes provide higher protective voltage than zinc, offer longer service life and are available in a wide range of configurations for recreational and commercial marine applications.
