The Webasto 11113837D is a temperature and overheating sensor designed for use with Webasto (Spheros, Valeo) Thermo E 200 and Thermo E 320 heaters.
This three-pin temperature and overheating sensor comes assembled with a sealing ring for installation ease.
The temperature sensor is equipped with water temperature detection capability and built-in protection against overheating.
The water temperature sensor registers the coolant temperature at the heat exchanger outlet as electrical resistance. This signal is then transmitted to the control unit for processing.
The built-in overheating protection within the temperature sensor takes on the task of limiting the temperature. Similar to the water temperature sensor, it registers the coolant temperature (as electrical resistance) at the heat exchanger outlet and transmits it to the control unit. The overheating protection prevents excessively high operating temperatures of the heater. When the temperature exceeds 125°C, it initiates shutdown and locks the heater. The overheating protection does not require manual resetting to its original position.
