Vetus VEAGM170 - AGM Battery 12V/170Ah
Vetus batteries are designed to meet seasonal requirements, ensuring reliable performance in various conditions. During winter months, minimal self-discharge allows for worry-free storage, guaranteeing a smooth engine start in the next season. We recommend using a trickle charge charger for optimal winter maintenance. Throughout the boating season, the battery must withstand both small constant loads and short heavy loads, such as when using a bow thruster. Vetus offers two battery types to cater to diverse needs.
The AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) series is renowned for its multi-purpose functionality and long service life. With VRLA sealed technology and maintenance-free operation, these batteries offer hassle-free usage. The electrolytes are absorbed by fiberglass mats between the battery plates, ensuring no leakage even in cases of damage. Additionally, these batteries can be shipped by air and are proudly made in the EU.
