Vetus VDR215354 - PTO Shaft Type 2 with Thrust Bearing
The Vetus Drive (Type VDR) features a unique combination of a self-aligning axial bearing and a double-acting constant velocity joint. Engineered to absorb propeller thrust through its integrated thrust bearing, this drive allows for mounting the engine on softer mounts, resulting in significantly reduced vibration and noise levels onboard. Crafted from durable materials including stainless steel, black passivated steel, and heavy-duty rubber, the VDR is designed to withstand harsh marine conditions and has been rigorously tested for maximum performance, capable of handling thrusts of up to 24,000 N.
Specifications
- VDR6 is available for shaft diameters of 50, 60, or 70 mm
