The Vetus DRIVE (type VDR) incorporates a self-aligning axial bearing and a double-acting constant velocity joint, offering unparalleled performance in marine propulsion systems. Designed to absorb propeller thrust, the built-in thrust bearing enables softer engine mounts, effectively reducing vibration and noise levels for enhanced comfort.

Constructed from stainless, black passivated steel, and heavy-duty rubber, the VDR ensures durability and reliability even in the harshest marine environments. Rigorously tested, this high-performance shaft is capable of handling a maximum thrust of up to 24,000 N, making it ideal for demanding applications.
- VDR6 is available for shaft diameters of 50, 60, or 70 mm
- DR2 and 4 are available for shaft diameters of 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, or 50 mm
