Environmentally friendly battery charging

The VETUS solar panel charge controller allows batteries to be charged using solar panels. In addition to charging, this charger ensures that when the battery is full, the capacity of the solar panels can be used for other loads. In order to avoid deep discharge of the battery, the charge control function disconnects any connected consumers from the battery if the voltage falls too low. The “solar panel charge controller” can be used independently. However, it can also be used in conjunction with the VETUS "Kombi-?" to be used. In this case, the "combi-? device" takes over the complete power supply. A maximum of 10 solar panel charge controllers can be connected in parallel.

The solar panel charge controller is protected against:
- Short circuit
- Overload from solar power
- Reversal of battery polarity
- Too high temperature
