The performance of a propeller is influenced not only by its diameter, pitch, number and shape of blades, disc ratio, and other parameters, but also by the material and precision of its manufacturing.
- Balance: Propellers often rotate at high speeds, sometimes up to 2000 RPM (i.e., more than 30 revolutions per second!), and must be very well balanced.
