The Vetus P14586 Maxwell 3500 HWC is a hydraulic windlass designed for automatic horizontal handling of anchor rodes. Equipped with an independent capstan, it allows for the retrieval of a secondary rope and chain rode or assists with docking procedures, providing versatile functionality for marine applications.
The HWC Series features fully automatic single or dual-direction chainwheel operation, suitable for use with chain-only rodes. Additionally, it includes a functional rope hauling system using an independent fluted stainless steel snag-free warping drum with clutch disengagement, ensuring precise control of all ropes. Optional dual anchor handling is available, offering smooth independent control of each chainwheel via cone clutches.
