The Vetus P105039 - Maxwell 2500 HWC hydraulic anchor winch is designed for automatic horizontal operation of anchor gear consisting solely of chain, with an independently operating capstan for hauling in a second rope/chain set or assisting in mooring.

Features:

• Fully automatic operation of the chainwheel in one or both directions when using chain only
• Functional rope hauling from both the front and rear with the independently operating "MAX-grip™" warping drum, equipped with a clutch for independent operation from the chainwheel
• Option for dual anchor operation where the chainwheels can operate independently of each other through conical clutches
• Set for the chain pipe is also included
• A conical clutch/brake mechanism allows for manual "free fall" anchoring. Unlike a dog clutch, a conical clutch provides smooth and progressive engagement for safe and precise operation
• Chainwheel locking pawl when the warping drum is used separately
• Easy deck mounting without below-deck parts
• Simple maintenance, with the rotating parts (chainwheel and warping drum) easily detachable from the winch without affecting the installation as a whole
• Heavy-duty reversible electric motor specifically developed for use with marine winches
• The chainwheel and warping drum are made of high-quality chrome-plated seawater-resistant bronze
• The housing, made of seawater-resistant alloy, is pretreated, powder-coated, and finished with a white two-component polyurethane paint
