Developed for vertical operation, the Vetus P102720 is equipped with a chainwheel featuring an independently operating capstan to handle a second chain/rope combination.

The VWC series is meticulously designed to handle vertically anchored gear comprised solely of chain, along with an independently operating capstan to handle a secondary rope/chain combination or assist in docking procedures.

• Fully automatic operation of the chainwheel, in one or two directions
• High-quality finish on above deck components: constructed from marine-grade stainless steel (AISI 316) and chromed bronze chainwheel for durability
• Integrated chain pipe and chain stripper aligned to prevent jamming during automatic chain feed into or out of the anchor locker
• Port and starboard chain pipes for dual installations (Type 2500 and higher only)
• Cone-type brake/clutch mechanism enables "free fall" anchoring, ensuring smooth and progressive operation for safe control
