Vetus NSF16DS - Small No-Smell Filter for Diesel Fuel Suitable for Ø 16mm

Unpleasant diesel fuel smells escaping through the breather line, a requirement for all boat fuel tanks, can be effectively addressed with the installation of a Vetus NSF16DS no-smell filter. This compact filter, measuring 107x111x111mm, features a Ø 16mm connector, and the Vetus fuel hose (FUHOSE15) is suitable for use as a breather line. The filter element is replaceable and should be exchanged annually.

Attention: Diesel fuel and froth should not enter the filter housing and its element. Therefore, it's essential to install the no-smell filter in combination with the Vetus Splash-Stop. As the name suggests, the Vetus diesel smell filter should not be used for petrol tanks.

With these filters, diesel fuel odors can no longer escape through the vent line, which is required for all fuel tanks on boats. The odor filters are easy to install and contain activated carbon material to absorb odors. To prevent diesel and frost from entering the filter housing and its element, a fuel overflow must be installed. Please note that a Vetus odor filter should not be used for petrol tanks.
