Type Bullflex flexible coupling - Optimal damping of vibrations

The Bullflex coupling is VETUS' solution to the growing demand for enhanced driving comfort, designed for optimal vibration dampening. Torsional vibrations resulting from load changes or uneven engine running, especially at low speeds, are efficiently dampened by the super-elastic rubber element. This prestressed rubber element ensures a backlash-free (noiseless) and vibration-damping connection between the motor and the propeller shaft. Puncture protection (axial and radial) further guarantees an optimal connection.

Specifications:

• Models 1, 2, and 4 have a 4" connection
• Models 8, 12, and 16 have a 4" connection and 5" connection
• Model 32 has 6 threaded M16 holes on a pitch circle diameter of Ø120.65mm / 4.7" for mounting the clutches on most transmissions (Hurth, Velvet, TD, ZF, and P.R.M.)
• VETUS supplies the necessary attachments for mounting the Bullflex to the gearbox
• This clutch is not suitable for V-drives
