For optimal performance, especially when dealing with corrosive fluids, it is recommended to flush the pump with water after each use to prolong its life. The impeller operates effectively within a temperature range of 50°F (10°C) to 180°F (82.2°C). Note that performance may be slightly reduced in colder temperatures and the impeller’s flow rate is expected to be about 10 percent below the listed pump performance.
