The EPDM material is suitable for elevated temperatures up to 185°F and conforms to rigorous hygienic standards. Although softer, EPDM impellers may deliver a flow rate approximately 10% below the listed pump performance. To prolong pump life, especially when handling corrosive products, flushing with water at the end of each cycle is recommended. This impeller ensures smooth, steady, and pulsation-free output, maintaining gentle pumping action to prevent damage to shear-sensitive or fragile liquids.
