The Jabsco 82405-0092 Marine Washdown Pump is a high-performance solution designed for demanding marine environments. This pump is a part of the HotShot HD4 series, engineered for durability and efficiency with a range of advanced features.

Featuring a robust polypropylene construction, this model supports a flow rate of up to 4 gallons per minute (GPM) and operates at 60 PSI shutoff pressure. It includes standard Snap-In Port fittings and 1/2 inch Straight Hosebarb fittings, paired with a reliable 12 Volt DC motor. The pump has been succeeded by the new model Q401J-118N-3A, which incorporates several upgrades for enhanced performance.

The updated HD (Heavy Duty) version boasts a wider diameter motor with a powder-coated shell, advanced co-molded diaphragm technology, and cast aluminum endbells and lower housing for improved pressure capability and durability. Its pump head and upper housing are made from glass fiber reinforced polypropylene, while the co-molded TPV diaphragm and EPDM check valves ensure longevity and reliable operation.

Equipped with an integrated, sealed pressure switch for on-demand operation, the pump shuts off at 60 PSI. The motor features a permanent magnet brushed design with a Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV) enclosure, providing ingress protection to IPX6 and minimizing vibrations with its dampening mounting feet. The plastic housing protects the motor from corrosion, ensuring efficient and quiet operation.

With a self-priming capability of 7 feet, this pump offers versatile installation options and can run dry without sustaining damage. It operates efficiently within a fluid temperature range of 32°F to 140°F (0°C to 60°C). Note that the pump is not submersible and should not be used with gasoline or other flammable liquids.
