The impeller is made from high-quality Nitrile rubber material, known for its compatibility with a wide range of oils and fuels.

Nitrile impellers are ideal for handling oils, oil and water emulsions, diesel fuel, lower-fraction hydrocarbons, kerosene, and lubricating and machine-cutting oil. For optimal pump life, it is recommended to flush the pump with water after each work cycle when pumping corrosive products.

The Nitrile impellers have a temperature range of 50 degrees F (10 degrees C) to 180 degrees F (82.2 degrees C). However, lower temperatures may affect the priming ability and performance of the impeller. It is important to note that the Nitrile impellers are softer and may result in a slight reduction in the rated flow, up to 10 percent below the listed pump performance.
