For optimal longevity, particularly when pumping corrosive substances, it is advisable to flush the pump with water after each use. Nitrile impellers maintain performance within a temperature range of 50°F to 180°F (10°C to 82.2°C). Note that performance may slightly decrease at lower temperatures, with rated flow potentially dropping by 10 percent.
