The Jabsco 30550-0005 is a high-quality sanitary pump designed for handling a variety of liquids, including gels and pastes. This pump features a 316 stainless steel construction and comes equipped with a Neoprene impeller and a carbon/ceramic/nitrile mechanical seal. It has 1-1/2 inch ACME threaded ports with a bevel seat. Note that this model is a bare shafted pedestal pump end only, without a motor.

Ideal for both low and high-viscosity liquids, this pump excels in moving suspended soft and hard solids with minimal damage. The output flow is smooth and steady, free from pulsations, and the gentle pumping action ensures shear-sensitive or fragile liquids remain intact. The pump is designed for ease of cleaning, either in place or through a strip-down process, making it a cost-effective and efficient alternative to other pump types.

The Jabsco 30550-0005 is self-priming and can handle vertical dry suction lifts of up to 10 feet with a neoprene impeller, requiring a minimum speed of 860 RPM. When wet, the pump can achieve suction lifts of up to 22 feet. The operational temperature limits for the pump depend on the impeller material, with Neoprene supporting temperatures between 45°F and 150°F (7°C to 65°C).

To ensure proper lubrication, the pump depends on the liquid being pumped. Avoid running the pump dry for more than 30 seconds, as lack of liquid can damage the impeller.
