Jabsco 30530-4001 - Stainless Steel Pump 5 HP
Jabsco 30530-4001 is a 316 stainless steel Flexible Impeller pump with a Neoprene Impeller, Carbon/Ceramic Mechanical Seal, 1-1/2 Inch NPT Internal Ports, coupled to a 5 Horsepower, 1750 RPM, 230/460 Volts, 3 Phase, TEFC, 60 HZ Motor. This pump can be used where single or variable speed operation and 316 stainless steel material are desirable. Self-priming, 50 GPM (189 LPM) flow and debris-tolerant. The Neoprene impeller in this pump is good for water and general-purpose pumping. This pump has a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet with the Neoprene impeller, and will produce suction lift up to 22 feet when wetted. Be sure suction lines are airtight or pump will not self-prime. Temperature limits for Neoprene impellers are 45 degrees F to 180 degrees F ( 7 degrees C to 82 degrees C).
Stainless Steel flexible impeller pumps are especially useful where self-priming is required and are also very effective in pumping viscous or air-entrained liquids. At lower speeds, they also handle delicate liquids very well owing to their gentle pumping action. Virtually any liquid with viscosity up to 20,000 cps can be pumped as long as there is chemical compatibility with the pump materials. Stainless Steel flexible impeller pumps have the design features and materials suitable for pumping Corrosive chemicals, alcohols and solutions, Inks, dyes, paints and pigments, Viscous adhesives, thickeners and raw materials.
Do not pump gasoline or other flammable liquids. Motor is not explosion-proof. Do not run dry.
