The Jabsco 30530-2101 is a high-quality pump end crafted from 316 stainless steel, designed to offer durability and performance. This model features a Neoprene impeller and a Tungsten Carbide mechanical seal, ensuring reliable operation and resistance to wear. It comes with 1-1/2 inch NPT internal ports and is intended as a replacement pump end only, without a motor.

For optimal performance, pair this pump head with a NEMA 184 TC-frame C-face motor, rated at 5 HP and 1750 rpm, and ensure it has the capacity to handle high-axial loads. The motor should be able to deliver a minimum of 14.5 ft-lbs of torque in the forward direction and 43 ft-lbs in reverse. It is recommended to use a motor with a front ball bearing locked against axial movement.

This pump is ideal for both single and variable speed operations, offering a flow rate of 50 GPM (189 LPM) and being tolerant of debris. The Neoprene impeller is suitable for water and general-purpose pumping tasks. It provides a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet and can achieve a suction lift of up to 22 feet when wetted. Ensure suction lines are airtight for proper self-priming. The temperature range for Neoprene impellers is between 45°F and 180°F (7°C to 82°C).

Stainless steel flexible impeller pumps are particularly advantageous for applications requiring self-priming, and they excel in handling viscous or air-entrained liquids. They can pump liquids with viscosities up to 20,000 cps, provided there is compatibility with the pump materials. These pumps are suitable for transferring corrosive chemicals, alcohols, solutions, inks, dyes, paints, pigments, viscous adhesives, thickeners, and raw materials. However, they are not designed for pumping gasoline or other flammable liquids, and the motor is not explosion-proof. Avoid running the pump dry.
