The Jabsco 30530-0114 is a robust and versatile pump designed for high-pressure applications. Constructed from 316 stainless steel, it features a flexible impeller made of Viton, a tungsten carbide mechanical seal, and 1-1/2 inch NPT internal ports. This pedestal pump is sold as a bare shafted unit without a motor.

Ideal for scenarios requiring either single or variable speed operation, this pump delivers self-priming capabilities and handles a flow rate of 50 GPM (189 LPM). It is capable of priming at both low and high speeds. When equipped with neoprene, nitrile, or Viton impellers, it can achieve a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet (3 meters) with a minimum speed of 860 RPM. In a wet environment, it can produce a suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7 meters). Proper maintenance of airtight suction lines is crucial for effective self-priming.

Be cautious not to operate the pump dry for more than 30 seconds, as lack of liquid can damage the impeller. The operating temperature for Viton impellers ranges from 60°F to 180°F (15°C to 82°C). Viton/FKM impellers are well-suited for hydrocarbons and most solvents. The tungsten carbide seal offers durability when pumping highly-corrosive or abrasive fluids.

For pedestal mount models operating at 1750 RPM, a 7.5 HP motor is recommended, considering an appropriate service factor. Ensure the motor can supply a minimum of 26 ft-lbs of torque for forward operation and 40 ft-lbs for reverse operation.

Note: Do not use this pump for gasoline or other flammable liquids, and avoid running it dry.
