The Jabsco 30530-0103 is a high-performance 316 stainless steel pedestal pump designed for durability and efficiency in various applications. It features a flexible impeller made of standard pressure nitrile and a tungsten carbide mechanical seal, ensuring resilience against corrosive or abrasive fluids. With 1-1/2 inch NPT internal ports, this pump operates without a motor, allowing flexibility in integration with your existing systems.
Self-priming and capable of handling flow rates up to 50 GPM (189 LPM), this pump is debris-tolerant and can prime at both low and high speeds. It offers a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet (3m) with neoprene/nitrile/viton impellers and can achieve a suction lift of 22 feet (6.7m) when wet. Proper maintenance is crucial—ensure suction lines are airtight for optimal self-priming, and avoid running the pump dry for more than 30 seconds to prevent impeller damage.
The pump's operational temperature range for nitrile impellers is 50°F to 180°F (10°C to 82°C), making it suitable for oil-based products. When used with a 3 HP motor at 1750 RPM, this pedestal mount model (30530-0xxx) requires an appropriate service factor for standard pressure impellers. Please note, this pump is not suitable for gasoline or other flammable liquids and should not be run dry.
