The Jabsco 30530-0014 is a robust and reliable pedestal pump designed for demanding applications. This model features a bare shafted pedestal pump end, crafted from 316 stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. It is equipped with a high-pressure Viton impeller and a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal, making it ideal for use in environments where strength and flexibility are required.
With internal ports sized at 1-1/2 inches NPT, this pump is self-priming and can handle flow rates up to 50 GPM (189 LPM). It is suitable for both single and variable speed operations, with a suction lift capability of up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) when wet. For optimal performance, ensure that the suction lines are airtight, as a lack of airtightness will prevent the pump from self-priming.
The pump's operating temperature range for Viton impellers is between 60°F to 180°F (15°C to 82°C). It is important to avoid running the pump dry for more than 30 seconds to prevent damage to the impeller. The pump should not be used for gasoline or other flammable liquids. For pedestal mount models operating at 1750 RPM, it is recommended to use a 7.5 HP motor with an appropriate service factor, ensuring the motor can supply a minimum of 26 ft-lbs of torque for forward operation and 40 ft-lbs for reverse operation.
