The Jabsco 30530-0001 is a high-quality stainless steel pedestal pump designed for various applications where durability and performance are key. It is equipped with a standard pressure Neoprene impeller and a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal. The pump includes 1-1/2 inch NPT internal ports and is offered as a bare shafted pedestal pump end only, meaning it does not include a motor.
The Jabsco 30530-0001 is ideal for situations where a reliable, self-priming pump with variable speed capabilities is necessary. With a flow rate of 50 GPM (189 LPM) and the ability to handle debris, this pump is versatile for different pumping needs. It can achieve a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet (3 meters) at a minimum of 860 RPM and can produce a suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) when wet. For optimal performance, ensure that suction lines are airtight to enable self-priming.
The pump's operating temperature range with Neoprene impellers is from 45°F to 180°F (7°C to 82°C). It is important to note that the pump relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication; running it dry for more than 30 seconds can damage the impeller. For pedestal mount models operating at 1750 RPM, a 3 HP motor with an appropriate service factor is recommended. Additionally, avoid using this pump for flammable liquids and ensure it is not run dry.
