The Jabsco 30520-5103 is a robust and versatile pump unit designed for various applications. Constructed from durable epoxy plastic, this pump features a nitrile impeller and a tungsten carbide/ceramic mechanical seal for reliable performance in challenging environments. The unit is closely coupled to a 1-1/2 horsepower motor that operates at 1740 RPM, with a voltage range of 115/230 Volts, single phase, and TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) construction.

This flexible impeller pump comes with 1-inch NPT internal ports and is ideal for scenarios where single or variable speed operation is necessary, and plastic epoxy material is preferred. It is self-priming with a maximum flow rate of 22 gallons per minute and is tolerant of debris. The pump can prime at both low and high speeds. For vertical dry suction lifts of up to 10 feet (3 meters), a minimum speed of 860 RPM is required. When wet, it can achieve a suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7 meters). Ensure that suction lines are airtight to enable proper self-priming. This unit relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication; running it dry for more than 30 seconds can damage the impeller. The operating temperature range for the nitrile impeller is from 50°F to 180°F (10°C to 82°C), making it suitable for oil-based products. The tungsten carbide seal is effective for handling highly-corrosive or abrasive fluids. The pump's intake and discharge ports are determined by the rotation of the pump shaft, with factory assembly typically configured for clockwise rotation (when viewed from the end cover).

Note that the motor is not explosion-proof, and the pump should not be operated dry.
