The Jabsco 30520-5101 is a versatile epoxy plastic pump designed for demanding applications. Featuring a Neoprene impeller and a durable Tungsten Carbide/Ceramic mechanical seal, this pump offers reliable performance in various conditions. It includes a close-coupled motor with a power rating of 1-1/2 horsepower, running at 1740 RPM, and operates on 115/230 volts with a single-phase, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) design.
This pump comes equipped with 1-inch NPT internal ports and is capable of self-priming at both low and high speeds. To achieve a vertical dry suction lift of 10 feet (3 meters), a minimum speed of 860 RPM is necessary. When operating in wet conditions, it can achieve a suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7 meters). Ensure that suction lines are airtight to maintain self-priming capabilities. The pump relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication; running it dry for more than 30 seconds may damage the impeller.
The operating temperature range for this pump, with Neoprene impellers, is between 45°F and 180°F (7°C to 82°C). The Neoprene impeller is suitable for water and general-purpose pumping, while the Tungsten Carbide seal is ideal for handling highly-corrosive or abrasive fluids. The pump is typically assembled for clockwise rotation (viewing from the end cover). Please note that the motor is not explosion-proof and the pump should not be operated dry.
