The Jabsco 30520-5001 is a versatile and reliable epoxy plastic pump designed for various applications. Its construction and features ensure efficient and long-lasting performance, making it an excellent choice for both single and variable speed operations.

This pump boasts a durable epoxy plastic construction, equipped with a neoprene impeller and a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal. It is closely coupled to a powerful 1-1/2 horsepower, 1740 RPM motor that operates on 115/230 volts, single-phase, and is TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled). The pump's ports are 1 inch NPT internal, facilitating easy installation and connection.

Jabsco 30520-5001 is self-priming, capable of handling a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet (3 meters) with a minimum speed of 860 RPM. When wet, it can achieve a suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7 meters). To maintain optimal performance, ensure that the suction lines are airtight, as any leaks will prevent the pump from self-priming.

This pump is designed to be debris tolerant, offering a flow rate of 22 gallons per minute (gpm). It is essential to keep the pump lubricated with the liquid being pumped, as running it dry for more than 30 seconds can damage the impeller. The neoprene impeller is suitable for water and general-purpose pumping, with operating temperature limits ranging from 45°F to 180°F (7°C to 82°C).

Note that the rotation of the pump shaft determines the location of the intake and discharge ports. The pump is typically assembled at the factory for clockwise rotation when viewed from the end cover. It is important to remember that the motor is not explosion-proof and the pump should not be operated dry.
