The Jabsco 30520-4101 is a high-performance pump and motor unit designed for demanding applications. The pump is equipped with a neoprene impeller and a tungsten carbide mechanical seal for reliable operation in various conditions.
Equipped with a 1-1/2 horsepower motor that operates on 115/230 volts, the unit is TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) and designed for efficient performance. The pump's ports are 1 inch NPT internal, allowing for versatile connections. The self-priming capability ensures effective performance at both low and high speeds, with a required minimum RPM of 860 for a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet, and a maximum suction lift of 22 feet when wet.
Operating temperature ranges depend on the impeller compound, with neoprene handling temperatures from 45°F to 180°F (7°C to 82°C). This pump is particularly useful for applications requiring self-priming and is effective in handling viscous or air-entrained liquids. It can pump liquids with viscosities up to 20,000 cps, provided there is compatibility with the pump materials. Ideal for corrosive chemicals, alcohols, inks, dyes, paints, pigments, viscous adhesives, thickeners, and raw materials.
Important: The unit relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication. Running the pump dry for more than 30 seconds can cause damage to the impeller and seal. Ensure adequate liquid flow to avoid premature wear.
