The Jabsco 30520-3103 is a flexible impeller pump ideal for applications requiring single or variable speed operation and the durability of epoxy plastic. It boasts self-priming capabilities, capable of handling flow rates up to 22 gallons per minute and a suction lift of up to 22 feet when wet. For a vertical dry suction lift of 10 feet, a minimum of 860 RPM is necessary. Note that the pump depends on the liquid for lubrication; running it dry for more than 30 seconds may damage the impeller.

Operating temperature ranges for the pump are 50°F to 180°F (10°C to 82°C), making it suitable for oil-based products. The tungsten carbide seal is particularly effective for handling highly-corrosive or abrasive fluids. The pump is typically assembled for clockwise rotation (viewing from the end cover). When pairing with a motor, a NEMA 145 TC-frame C-face motor rated at 1-1/2 HP at 1750 RPM is recommended, with a minimum torque delivery of 4.8 ft-lbs in forward and 11.2 ft-lbs in reverse directions. Ensure the motor can handle high-axial loads and use only capacitor start motors.
