The Jabsco 30520-3101 is a specialized replacement pump end designed for flexibility and durability in various pumping applications. This unit is made from epoxy plastic and features a Neoprene impeller and a tungsten carbide mechanical seal, providing robust performance and resistance to harsh conditions.

Equipped with 1-inch NPT internal ports, this pump end is suitable for applications requiring a reliable, self-priming pump. It operates efficiently with a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet (3 meters) at a minimum of 860 RPM and can achieve suction lift up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) when wet. The pump is designed to self-prime, provided that the suction lines are airtight. It is important to note that this pump relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication; running it dry for more than 30 seconds may damage the impeller.

The operating temperature for the pump varies based on the impeller material, with Neoprene impellers suitable for temperatures between 45°F and 180°F (7°C to 82°C). This pump is ideal for water and general-purpose pumping needs. The tungsten carbide seal is particularly effective for handling highly-corrosive or abrasive fluids. For optimal performance, the pump is typically assembled at the factory for clockwise rotation when viewed from the end cover.

For these head-only models, you will need to supply a compatible motor. A NEMA 145 TC-frame C-face motor rated at 1-1/2 HP at 1750 RPM with a suitable service factor is recommended. The motor must be capable of handling high-axial loads, with a front ball bearing to prevent axial movement. It should deliver a minimum torque of 4.8 ft-lbs in the forward direction and 11.2 ft-lbs in the reverse direction. Additionally, use only capacitor start motors to ensure proper operation.
