The Jabsco 30520-3004 is a high-quality epoxy plastic pump end designed for flexibility and durability in various applications. This unit is constructed from epoxy plastic, featuring a Viton impeller and a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal. It comes with 1-inch NPT internal ports, but note that it is a replacement pump end only and does not include a motor.

Ideal for single or variable speed operations, this pump is self-priming and capable of handling debris. It achieves a flow rate of up to 22 gallons per minute and can handle suction lifts of up to 22 feet when wet. For optimal performance, ensure that the suction lines are airtight, as any leaks will prevent self-priming. The pump should not run dry for more than 30 seconds to avoid damage to the impeller.

The operating temperature range for the pump, with a Viton impeller, is between 60°F and 180°F (15°C to 82°C). Viton impellers are suitable for use with hydrocarbons and most solvents. The pump's intake and discharge port locations are determined by the rotation of the pump shaft, which is typically set for clockwise rotation from the end cover perspective.

For these head-only models, you will need to supply a motor. A recommended choice is a NEMA 145 TC-frame C-face motor rated at 1-1/2 HP at 1750 RPM, equipped to handle high axial loads. Ensure the motor can provide a minimum torque of 4.8 ft-lbs in forward direction and 11.2 ft-lbs in reverse direction. Only use capacitor start motors for compatibility.

Important: Do not use this pump for handling gasoline, solvents, thinners, or other flammable liquids.
