The Jabsco 30510-5004 is a robust and versatile pump designed for reliable performance in various applications. This model features an epoxy plastic construction with a Viton impeller and a Viton/Carbon/Ceramic mechanical seal. It is coupled with a 3/4 horsepower motor, operating at 1750 RPM, with a single-phase, 115-volt, Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design. The pump's ports are 3/4 inch NPT external, facilitating easy connections.

Notably, this pump is self-priming, capable of priming at both low and high speeds. For a vertical dry suction lift of 10 feet (3 meters), a minimum speed of 860 RPM is required. When wet, it can achieve a suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7 meters). To ensure proper self-priming, suction lines must be airtight. The pump relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication, and running it dry for more than 30 seconds can damage the impeller.

The operating temperature range for this pump, with Viton impellers, is from 60°F to 180°F (15°C to 82°C). Viton/FKM impellers are suitable for handling hydrocarbons and most solvents. The pump's intake and discharge ports' positioning is determined by the shaft's rotation, with the factory typically setting it for clockwise rotation when viewed from the end cover.

Note that the motor is not explosion-proof, making it unsuitable for use in environments with flammable vapors. Running the pump dry is also discouraged to prevent damage.
