The Jabsco 30510-3103 is an advanced epoxy plastic pump end designed for robust performance in demanding environments. This model features a self-priming capability and is ideal for use in applications requiring a replacement pump end without a motor.

Constructed from durable epoxy plastic, this pump end includes a nitrile impeller and a Viton/Tungsten Carbide mechanical seal. The pump is equipped with 3/4 inch NPT external ports, making it compatible with a range of setups. For optimal performance, pair it with a NEMA 56 C-frame C-face motor rated at 3/4 HP and 1750 rpm. Ensure the motor is designed to handle high-axial loads with ball bearings locked against axial movement. The motor should provide at least 1.5 ft-lbs of torque in the forward direction and 4.3 ft-lbs in reverse, and must be a capacitor start type.

This pump is designed to self-prime at both low and high speeds. To achieve a vertical dry suction lift of 10 feet (3 meters), a minimum of 860 RPM is necessary, while it can achieve a suction lift up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) when wet. Ensure that suction lines are airtight to maintain self-priming functionality. Note that the pump relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication; running it dry for more than 30 seconds can damage the impeller. The operating temperature range for the nitrile impeller is between 50°F and 180°F (10°C to 82°C), making it suitable for oil-based products. The tungsten carbide seal offers protection when dealing with highly-corrosive or abrasive fluids.

Keep in mind that the motor is not explosion-proof and should not be used in environments where flammable vapors are present. Running the pump dry is also not recommended.
