The Jabsco 30510-3101 is a versatile and durable pump component designed for various pumping needs. Constructed from epoxy plastic, this pump end is equipped with a neoprene impeller and a Viton/Tungsten Carbide mechanical seal, making it suitable for handling both general-purpose and more demanding applications.

Featuring 3/4 inch NPT external ports, this unit serves as a replacement pump end and does not include a motor. To operate, it requires a NEMA 56 C-frame C-face motor rated at 3/4 HP at 1750 RPM, with a capacity to handle high-axial loads. The motor should provide a minimum torque of 1.5 ft-lbs and 4.3 ft-lbs in forward and reverse directions, respectively, and must be capable of capacitor start. Ball bearings that resist axial movement are recommended for optimal performance.

This pump is self-priming and capable of priming at both low and high speeds. For a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet (3 meters), a minimum of 860 RPM is necessary. When wet, the pump can achieve a suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7 meters). It is crucial to ensure that suction lines are airtight to maintain proper priming. Note that the pump relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication; running it dry for more than 30 seconds can damage the impeller.

Operating temperature limits for the pump vary based on the impeller compound. For neoprene impellers, the acceptable range is between 45°F to 180°F (7°C to 82°C). While suitable for water and general-purpose applications, the tungsten carbide seal makes this pump ideal for highly-corrosive or abrasive fluids. Please be aware that the motor is not explosion-proof and should not be used in environments where flammable vapors are present. Also, avoid running the pump dry.
