The Jabsco 30510-3004 is designed for reliability and durability with its epoxy plastic construction and Viton impeller. This pump end is intended as a replacement part and does not include a motor. It features a Viton/Carbon/Ceramic mechanical seal and 3/4 inch NPT external ports. To operate this pump head, pair it with a NEMA 56 C-frame C-face motor rated at 3/4 HP and 1750 RPM, equipped to handle high axial loads with ball bearings to prevent axial movement. The motor should provide at least 1.5 ft-lbs of torque in the forward direction and 4.3 ft-lbs in reverse. It must be a capacitor start motor. This pump is self-priming, capable of operating at both low and high speeds. For a vertical dry suction lift of 10 feet (3 meters), a minimum speed of 860 RPM is required, and it can achieve a suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) when wet. Ensure that suction lines are airtight to avoid issues with self-priming. The pump relies on the liquid for lubrication; running it dry for more than 30 seconds can damage the impeller. The recommended operating temperature range for the Viton impeller is between 60°F and 180°F (15°C to 82°C). This impeller is suitable for hydrocarbons and most solvents. Note that the motor is not explosion-proof and should not be used in environments with flammable vapors. Avoid running the pump dry.
