With 3/4 inch NPT internal ports, this pump is ideal for applications requiring high pressure and variable speed operation. It boasts a self-priming capability with a flow rate of 8 gallons per minute and is tolerant to debris. Note that this unit is bare shafted and does not include a motor; for pedestal mount models operating at 1750 RPM, a 3/4 HP motor is recommended for standard impellers, while a 1-1/2 HP motor is necessary for high pressure impellers. Ensure the motor provides a minimum of 3 ft-lbs of torque for standard impellers or 6.9 ft-lbs for high pressure impellers to achieve effective forward and reverse operation.
Important: The pump relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication. Avoid running the pump dry for more than 30 seconds as this may damage the impeller. It is not suitable for pumping gasoline or other flammable liquids.
