Jabsco 3010-1014 - Epoxy Pedestal Pump
The Jabsco 3010-1014 is an advanced pump designed for versatile applications where both single and variable speed operations are needed. Crafted from phenolic plastic with a Viton impeller and lip type seal, this pump is built to withstand challenging environments. Its design includes 5/8 inch ID hose barb ports and is intended for use as a bare shafted pedestal pump end without a motor.
Key features of the Jabsco 3010-1014 include its self-priming capability, allowing it to prime from dry conditions up to 4.9 feet (1.5 meters). It delivers a nominal flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute (10 liters per minute) at 1500 RPM. This pump is also debris-tolerant, ensuring reliable performance in various conditions.
The only metallic components in this flexible impeller pump are the shaft and drive pin, both made from 316 stainless steel (Type 18-8). This provides excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of chemical solutions such as ammonia, barium, and silver nitrate, as well as photographic solutions like fix and developer.
The operating temperature range for the Viton impeller in this pump spans from 60°F to 180°F (15°C to 82°C). It is crucial to ensure suction lines are airtight for effective self-priming and to avoid running the pump dry for more than 30 seconds to prevent damage to the impeller, as the unit relies on the pumped liquid for lubrication.
