The Jabsco 2760-0003 is a high-quality bronze pedestal pump designed for versatility and durability. This pump is equipped with a nitrile impeller and a lip type seal, featuring 1/4 inch NPT internal ports. Note that this model is the pedestal pump end only and does not include a motor.
With its bronze construction, the pump excels in self-priming capabilities, operating effectively at both low and high speeds. For vertical dry suction lift up to 10 feet, a minimum of 800 RPM is necessary. When wetted, the pump can achieve a suction lift of up to 22 feet. The nitrile impeller is suitable for temperatures ranging from 50 to 118 degrees Fahrenheit (10 to 82 degrees Celsius). Additionally, these pedestal pumps can be long-coupled to a motor, driven through a gearbox, or operated by a belt. They are capable of generating higher pressures and can run at low speeds, making them suitable for pumping higher-viscosity liquids.
It is important to avoid running the pump dry for more than 30 seconds, as the unit relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication. Prolonged operation without liquid can damage the impeller.
