The Jabsco Ballast King DC Flexible Impeller Pump is engineered for efficient fluid management in ballast systems. This unit comes with a Deutsch connector and is closely coupled with a 12 Volt DC motor. It features ports with a 1-inch hose barb and 1/2-inch BSP internal threaded connection.

Designed to handle both filling and emptying of ballast tanks, this pump utilizes Jabsco's advanced reversible flexible impeller technology. Capable of delivering up to 15 gallons per minute, the Ballast King pump makes it easy to manage ballast levels. Simply activate the pump to fill the tank, and turn it off once full. To reduce ballast, switch the pump to reverse, allowing the ballast to be expelled overboard. This same functionality allows for smooth transfer between two tanks.

For optimal performance, mount the pump on a stable, flat surface in a dry and well-ventilated area with ample access for maintenance. Use the provided rubber grommets to reduce vibration and avoid over-tightening the mounting screws. Ensure that the overboard discharge is installed well above both static and heeled waterlines to comply with marine standards.
