The Jabsco 18753-0250 Mechanical Seal Kit is engineered for optimal performance and reliability in Jabsco pumps. Designed as a seal head only, it requires a stationary seal seat for complete functionality. This kit features a Carbon Rotary Face/Primary Ring, 18-8 Stainless Steel Retainer, 18-8 Stainless Steel Spring, and Viton Bellows/Elastomers.
Its design includes a compact, unitized, unbalanced, single spring configuration with a bi-directional Elastomer Bellows Seal, featuring a one-piece construction. This factory-assembled design allows for quick and straightforward installation and replacement. The full-convolution Viton elastomer bellows offer exceptional flexibility to accommodate shaft movement and wear, while a dent and groove positive drive arrangement minimizes torsional stress on the bellows.
The precision surface finish enhances the service life and dependability of the seal. The Viton elastomer drive ring ensures positive sealing and drives without the need for set screws or drive pins.
