The Jabsco 18610-0271 is a high-quality bronze utility pump, ideal for a variety of general-purpose applications. The pump is combined with a 1/4 horsepower motor that operates on 115 volts and 60 Hz. For added convenience, it includes an 8-foot cord with a 3-prong grounded plug.

This flexible impeller pump is designed for water and other similar liquids, offering a vertical dry suction lift of up to 6 feet. When wetted, it can achieve a suction lift of up to 20 feet. Ensure that suction lines are airtight to facilitate self-priming. The neoprene impeller can handle temperatures ranging from 45°F to 180°F (7°C to 82°C). The 18610 Series Pumps are known for their versatility, moderate flow rate, and portability. They are suitable for continuous duty applications, with a flow rate of 6 GPM (22.8 LPM) and are designed to handle debris while operating on 115 volts AC.

For optimal performance, avoid exceeding 15 psi (1 bar) of outlet pressure or 38 feet (11.6 meters) of lift during continuous operation at 75°F (24°C). The pump can be mounted in any position, with the inlet port located on the right and the discharge port on the left when facing the pump. Note that this pump should not be used with gasoline or other flammable liquids, and running it dry is not advisable. Additionally, the motor is not explosion-proof.
