The Jabsco 18370-0000 is a high-quality bronze pedestal pump designed for versatile applications. This model features a flexible impeller system that is ideal for both thin and viscous liquids, as well as handling solids in suspension. It is constructed from durable bronze and is equipped with a neoprene impeller and a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal. Notably, this version is a bare shafted pedestal pump end and does not include a motor.

With 2-inch NPT internal ports, the pump delivers a nominal flow rate of 60 GPM (270 LPM) at 1500 RPM. It boasts self-priming capabilities from dry up to 7.8 feet (2.4m) and is effective at both low and high speeds. For a vertical lift of 10 feet (3.0m), a minimum of 800 RPM is required. When wetted, the pump can achieve a suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7m). To ensure proper operation, suction lines must be airtight to enable self-priming.

The neoprene impeller can handle temperatures ranging from 45°F to 180°F (7°C to 82°C), making it suitable for water and general-purpose pumping tasks. This flexible impeller pump combines the benefits of positive displacement with the general transfer capabilities of centrifugal pumps. It can be mounted in any position, and the rotation of the pump shaft determines the orientation of the intake and discharge ports. Typically, the pump is assembled for clockwise rotation when viewed from the end cover. Ensure that the pump is not run dry for more than 30 seconds to avoid damaging the impeller and pump components, as it relies on the liquid being pumped for lubrication.
