The Jabsco 17981-0005 impeller is designed for use in hygienic applications where food-grade standards are essential. Crafted from 3A Sanitary Food Grade Neoprene, this flexible impeller features 10 blades and has dimensions of 2-9/16 inches in width (65mm) and 2 inches in thickness (51mm). It is equipped with a 5/8 inch (16mm) Brass Double Flat shaft hub.
Built to meet stringent hygienic standards, this impeller is ideal for pumping food, beverage, and pharmaceutical products. It offers excellent chemical resistance and operates within a temperature range of 45 degrees Fahrenheit (7 degrees Celsius) to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (73.9 degrees Celsius). However, it is not suitable for pumping severe solvents or acids. For compatibility concerns, refer to the Jabsco Chemical Resistance table or consult the factory. To extend the life of the impeller when handling corrosive products, it is recommended to flush the pump with water after each use.
