The Jabsco 17430-0003 Epoxy Utility Pump is a durable and high-performance pump made from glass-filled epoxy with a nitrile impeller and a nitrile/carbon/ceramic mechanical seal. It features 1/2 inch NPT internal ports, a 1/2 horsepower motor running at 1725 RPM on 115 volts AC, and comes with an 8-foot cord and a three-pronged grounded plug. Capable of an open flow rate of 11 GPM, it’s self-priming and can achieve suction lifts of up to 20 feet when wetted. Suitable for oil-based products and operating within a temperature range of 50 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, the pump should not be run dry for more than 30 seconds to avoid damage.

The Jabsco 17430-0003 Epoxy Utility Pump is designed for durability and high performance in various applications. Constructed with glass-filled epoxy and featuring a nitrile impeller, this pump excels in environments where corrosion resistance and self-priming capabilities are essential.
This model includes a nitrile/carbon/ceramic mechanical seal and comes equipped with 1/2 inch NPT internal ports. The pump is paired with a 1/2 horsepower motor that operates at 1725 RPM on 115 volts AC, single-phase, and is totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC). The unit is provided with an 8-foot cord and a three-pronged grounded plug for easy setup.
With an open flow rate of 11 gallons per minute (42 liters per minute), this pump is self-priming and can function effectively at both low and high speeds. It offers a vertical dry suction lift of up to 6 feet with the nitrile impeller and can achieve a suction lift of up to 20 feet when wetted. For optimal performance, ensure that suction lines are airtight to maintain self-priming capabilities.
The nitrile impeller is suitable for oil-based products and operates effectively within a temperature range of 50 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (10 to 82 degrees Celsius). The pump can be mounted in any position, with the inlet port positioned on the right and the discharge port on the left when facing the pump. It is crucial to avoid running the pump dry for more than 30 seconds, as lack of liquid can damage the impeller and other components.
