The Electroscan is an advanced waste treatment system designed for boats under 20 meters. It effectively neutralizes bacteria and organic materials, ensuring a clean and environmentally friendly solution.
- Function: When the toilet is flushed, black water enters a first chamber where the salt from seawater is broken down into sodium and chlorine. This acts as a powerful bactericide, neutralizing bacteria and organic matter. Unused chlorine is recombined into sodium.
- Upon the next flush, the treated water is pushed into the second chamber. The Electroscan system reactivates, treating both chambers.
- On the third flush, water from chamber 1 moves to chamber 2, while chamber 2 water is either sent to the main tank or discharged into the sea.
