PU BOW PRO use induction electric motors without carbon brushes. They require minimal maintenance, and their continuous operation time is almost unlimited *! Only gearboxes and power circuits require maintenance. The induction motor is controlled by the VETUS MCV controller. Built-in protection against overheating and low voltage battery, combined with a brushless induction electric motor, make the BOW PRO PUs reliable and unpretentious, ideal for the most demanding navigators in the most difficult maneuvering conditions!

The BOW PRO thrusters are controlled using the CANBUS digital protocol. There are two BOW PRO proportional control panels; Base Panel (BPPPA) and PU Pause Panel (BPPJA). BOW PRO thrusters use the same well-proven screws and gearboxes as the classic VETUS PU. BOW PRO thrusters are designed to be installed in tunnels of the same diameters as classic PUs manufactured by VETUS and other brands, so that they can be easily installed in place of old PUs. For electric propulsion boats, VETUS offers the BOW PRO 48V PU. The BOW PRO range of thrusters continues to expand.
