For over thirty years, Vetus has been a pioneer in introducing thrusters to the pleasure and small commercial fleet market. The installation of a bow thruster has become essential for ensuring the maneuverability of vessels. To address the need for longer continuous operation, Vetus has introduced a line of thrusters with extended run time.

Using a thruster is not only convenient but, in many cases, essential for safe mooring and maneuvering in tight spaces, not only for amateurs but even for professionals. The traditional limitation of existing thrusters is their continuous operation time, typically around 2 to 5 minutes per hour. This may be insufficient, especially for amateur boaters operating their own or rented vessels.

The new Vetus Heavy Duty Thrusters with Extended Run Time provide a minimum of 7 minutes of continuous operation and, in many cases, can run without overheating for up to 10 minutes. This extended run time ensures that you have the maneuverability you need, even in challenging conditions.
