Type Bullflex flexible coupling
Optimal damping of vibrationsThe Vetus BULFL1650 Flexible Coupling BULLFLEX16 for a 50 mm shaft offers optimal damping of vibrations for enhanced driving comfort. The Bullflex coupling is Vetus' answer to the increasing demand for even more refined propulsion systems. Specially developed for optimal vibration dampening, this Flexible Shaft Coupling effectively absorbs torsional vibrations, which typically occur during load changes or from uneven engine operation, especially at low speeds.
The super-elastic, prestressed rubber element ensures a backlash-free (noiseless) and vibration-damping connection between the motor and the propeller shaft. Thanks to built-in puncture protection for both axial and radial forces, the connection remains optimally secured under all conditions.

Specifications
- Models 1, 2 and 4 have a 4” connection
- Models 8, 12 and 16 have a 4 and 5" connection
- The model 32 has 6 threaded M16 holes on a pitch circle diameter of Ø120.65 mm / 4.7" for mounting the clutches on most transmissions (Hurth, Velvet, TD, ZF and P.R.M.)
- Vetus also supplies the necessary attachments for mounting the Bullflex to the gearbox. This clutch is not suitable for V-drives
